How to Improve Quality Of Sound in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 - Bass Boost & Noise Elimination.
Improve Bass Boost on your Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.
This method allows you to improve sound
quality in Windows 7 as it lets you
enhance bass and adjust the loudness
counter.
To enhance the quality of audio:
1. Right click on the Volume icon;
2. Select Playback Devices;
3. In the dialog box that appears, select
the Default Speaker set (there may be
more than one depending upon your
sound card and software installed)
4. Click on Properties;
5. Click on Enhancements tab
6. Click to select Bass Boost and click
Properties. I will divide bass into two
types: drum bass and harmonic bass.
The latter is the one produced by those
huge guitars that add real bass to music.
6.1 If you want drum bass and harmonic
bass both, select 80Hz and increase the
dB to anywhere between 9dB to 18dB.
You can increase it more but then, the
other sounds - including human voice
and treble will go down drastically.
You
can then select Loudness and then set up
the slider to one or two places away from
Short. You will need to experiment a little
before you hear the proper sound clarity.
If you are making changes even as your
browser is streaming audio, you have to
refresh the page (press F5) to apply
changes.
6.2 If you just want harmonic bass and
wish to avoid the humming sound that is
created by frequencies lying between 50
and 60, select 50Hz and increase it by
12-18dB. Then, use the Loudness
properties to fine tune the audio. In my
case, it is 50Hz at 15dB with loudness
slider set to Short.
